The streaming service can be feed with videos converted to the standard codecs for mobile devices (3gp, 3g2, amc, avi, mov, wmv, mpg, mpeg, mp4). The output streaming uses one of four formats (3gp, 3g2, amc & mp4) to ensure that the content could be played back on all devices. The services provides 100MB upload capacity for every single video and dectects automatically, which format is the best for the accessing device. This detection method makes it’s possible to generate one link for video content that is accessable by every handset.

The strenweb targets mainly publishers, radio and TV stations or interactive agencies that want to offer video content. The cheapest tariff starts at 55 Euros a month incl. 25 MB of upload capacity. The company expects an increase of users of 50%-100% this year
